I remember this old commercial and I just thought it was funny and never realized what it was saying…
Commercials and Ads can have that effect, you might just laugh at them for a while and never think about them again, you might laugh at them and quote them for decades…
And then BAM you think to yourself that is what they were saying...
This happened to me today and it was due to a series of events that started with my morning gym time on the treadmill…
… and The Ben Settle Podcast and his mention of mindset and how he couldn’t even use the word mindset ‘cause it has been taken over by the guru’s and/or the self-help people or something like that, not important the exact way he said it…
… and then reading Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill and Gaining Power Through the “Master Mind”, and Henry Ford and the statement, “Men take on the nature and the habits and the Power of Thought of those with whom they associate in a spirit of sympathy and harmony.” … so let’s shorten that up and say take on the right mindset or adopt the mindset of the right kind of people that you surround yourself with and step up your game!
… and then later on in the day talking with a coworker about running a business and talking about how people will work to tear you down, buy reporting your Facebook posts as SPAM, mark your YouTube videos as misleading or a scam, file an email SPAM complaint instead of just unsubscribing …
anything to tear down what you are building instead of using their time in a more positive way to build themselves up…
This is all due to the wrong mindset …
Which when all that stuff has happened to me set me in the wrong mindset, screw that guy I am going to figure out a way to get ‘em back … WRONG … MINDSET …
Back to the Ben Settle Podcast, “what can I being doing with my time that is a better use of it?”...
Or that old commercial that I was talking about that I still to this day quote and laugh at and just realized the power of it to both my conscious mind and subconscious mind, and to my mindset of the today and right now…
That old commercial was a guy and I don’t remember the exact setting but he said, “We want to change the paradigm!”
Of course he said it wrong, he said it phonetically, so sound it out with me, “PAIR AH DIG UMMM”, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH literally LOL, makes me smile every time … even as I type this…
So do yourself a change your mindset and "step away from the box" or flip that switch to success…
Find and keep a positive mindset and focus on being disciplined and get moving in a positive direction that builds you and everyone around you up, not tear them down…
Find a good use for your time, ‘cause we don’t have as much as we think we do, so use it wisely and efficiently…
Any way that is my “sales pitch” for the day, work on you and let everyone and everything else figure it out, all you can do is what you can do…
